You can start before every answer is perfect
The quote request should be specific enough for serious review, but it does not need to be a completed dispatch package. AFS can identify missing information during follow-up. The most important things are aircraft identity, route, timing, authorization, aircraft status, insurance path, and handoff context.
Good enough to submit
You know the aircraft, current location, intended destination, basic timing, your relationship to the aircraft, and why the aircraft needs to move.
Better for accurate follow-up
You also know aircraft status, recent flight history, insurance requirements, shop/seller contacts, handoff instructions, and any timing constraints.
Needs clarification before quoting
The aircraft status is uncertain, insurance approval is unknown, access is unclear, route is international/permit-sensitive, or the requester is not clearly authorized.
Provide enough detail for a serious review
AFS does not issue instant transportation prices. A useful quote review depends on the actual aircraft, where it is located, where it needs to go, what condition it is in, who is authorized to approve movement, what insurance requirements apply, and what timing or route constraints exist.

- Desired timing or delivery window
- Aircraft status, recent flight history, and known squawks
- Insurance requirements or named-pilot approval needs

What happens after the quote request
Submission starts a review, not automatic acceptance. AFS may ask for more information before issuing a quote or may decline requests that do not fit aircraft, route, documentation, insurance, pilot qualification, weather, timing, or operational risk requirements.
1. Initial screening
AFS checks whether the request appears to fit owner-authorized aircraft ferry, delivery, relocation, or repositioning support.
2. Detail clarification
AFS may request aircraft status, insurance, maintenance, handoff, route, timing, or authorization details before quoting.
3. Quote or next step
If the request appears feasible, AFS follows up with quote assumptions, next-step coordination, or additional review items. Accepted missions may then move into portal-based status, document, and update tracking.
Good quotes depend on good assumptions
A quote is only as useful as the assumptions behind it. If aircraft condition, insurance approval, delivery location, timing, or access instructions change later, the quote may need to be revised. The more complete the initial request is, the more realistic the quote discussion can be.
